Suzuki's new 1000 naked

The pillion/bike integration option notwithstanding, the short back end looks fugly in my mind. I'm starting to understand the attraction of naked bikes, but without a proper length back end it looks like a dog dragging its chocolate starfish across the carpet.

Like that a lot!

No windscreen, no way to attach luggage, nearly no pillion seat.
I suppose as long as your touring consists of an afternoon bimble it's a fine sport tourer.

I like it, but like most bikes I like I can't afford any of them.
So I'll just stick with what I've got, and keep dreaming.

Half the amount of plastic frippery, half the number of cylinders and I'd at least consider a test ride. For now though my pretty damn near perfect SV1000 will sit unridden under the cover outside the back door rather than that over plastic'd extravagance.
