i love it aswell, looks well smart.. I don't look at the colours as being purely gixer, but colours I associate with Suzuki's in general.
most manufacturers have a colour scheme / pattern they use across the complete range bring on the sv650z |

I like em 2 :P
I associate the colours more with Suzuki. I was looking at the new Hayabusa, that looked sexy too. The comments about the colour looking like a Gixxer. I test rode a green bike, It looked like a kawasaki |

No, I thought not...... One of the biggest failings of the SVS has been it's completely bland colour schemes, The new SVS-Z does actually make people look. If I were to purchase an SV1k it would be the only one I would go for. But what do I know, I own a black GSXR . |

To be honest I think the single colours stand out from the multicoloured sports bike crowd...
And by the way, why did they let first year craft and design students build the single seat pod for the tiller? I'm sure someone likes it but that's the ugliest thing I've ever seen on a bike. And I've seen my reflection!

I'd rather have a street fightered tl or a sv1000n... I don't like the race bike look.. I wish I'd bought a sv650n originaly.... but I though the fairing would help.. the clipons just gave me a bad back...

My appologies for my newbie comment on the color scheme being only gsxr
Im a very new rider who thought that color was exclusive to the gsxr range as the only bikes ive seen with it are gsxr's (only been looking a few months though) and that suzuki say 'The SV1000SZ shares the same iconic colour as the GSX-R' A friendly 'your misinformed mate' would of been appreciated. |

I dont think there is anything wrong with the colour scheme it just doesnt work with the shape of the bike...
You can get a TLR in the GSX-R blue a white stylee and thats a much better effort than the SV.. IMHO
