Default Pegs too low / feet too big?

I've given up trying to get my knee down on the road, if it happens it happens but recently I've grounded the peg and my toe on a few occasions but it didn't seem like I was near the tarmac, especially knee wise!?

I know the pegs are quite low and I've got size 11 feet but it seems to me that one of the two are going to hit the ground before my knee.

Is this down to body position? or SV peg fail?

first thing - do you have the balls of your feet on the pegs, or your instep?

yeh u need to lean wayy of the side of ur bike to get your knee on the ground, look at how the gp riders do it, their whole bodies are hanging of the side of the bike, ive had my knee on the ground a few times but never once touched the ground with my toe sliders or the pegs lol

Like the others lads said, feet further back on the pegs especially your foot closest to the ground.
Hang off like hell, it should feel like your holding the bike up.
With your outside foot push down on the peg to stable the bike.
It's a lot to think about in a couple of seconds.

I've only hit on the left which I think answers the problem, tend to have my feet close to the lever because of changing gear whereas right foot is back on the peg. Will try and concentrate on being in the right gear ahead of the corner and getting the position right.

Not going to push it though as I'm sure I'll make a spectacular prat of myself

I'd try and get it down on a track before trying on the road. Trying to do something new on the road never sounds like a good idea to me...!
