Smile from a few days ago. I finally managed to contact the DVLA and get tax paid on the GSXR. They have stopped issuing any new V5 documents for the foreseeable future but you can tax with the VIN on the phone to them.

So still no V5 for it, but I can use it.

I've turned into 'one of those' cyclists from the other threads. Doing about 6,000 miles a year under my own steam. I'm fitter than I've ever been, stopped smoking the lot.

I went from being a supremely confident rider to not trusting myself due to lack of miles and trying to do the same speeds, I became a danger. So to save my life I sold the Street R and a guy from Inverness got to love her.

I miss riding motorbikes every so often but not that much. Weird how things change. I only bought a bike because I wasn't fitting in my leathers and now I don't even try to get in them.
