Obviously a lot of listening pays off. Much improved, well done. I didn't use it at all before but will now.

Likewise, the fact it exports saved routes to sat nav formats is a big plus too!

Thanks guys - it really does mean a lot (we've spent literally years working away at this!)

Cheers

Been trying this myself, in preparation for a week in scotland early next year with the lady.
Very impressed. I like. A lot.

I'll just have to use TYRE then, as I want to put it into the Garmin. It adds an extra step using TYRE as it adds so many waypoints.

I'll have to try again but the last time I tried it I diligently selected the exact route I wanted. This was totally ignored when I imported it into the GPS. I suspect because it used the same waypoints but not the exact route. Absolutely not a problem if trying to get from A to B but not useful on a motorbike.

I have found it really good for plotting my own routes and then exporting them to Garmin. It is now my first choice before Tyre, Mapsource and Basecamp. You need to ensure that the GPS settings match. I've found in all programs that it's best to go for fastest then "force" the program to use the route you want using route points and waypoints as opposed to shortest distance.

Aye, as LOM says; your GPS will always overrule whatever settings are done on the route files. E.g. If you've plotted a route that avoids motorways, but your GPS is set for Fastest Route, then it'll send you up the motorway.

If you want to PM me one of your routes I can double check though...
