Default new nuts.

basically, as a few of my nuts and bolts in various places have a bit of rust forming, im looking to replace them.

ive had a look on ebay for bolt kits, and i gotta say, im not gonna pay about 15 quid just for 6 sprocket bolts.

am i safe to pop into somewhere like homebase and use any nuts ?
or have they gotta specially be motorcycle ones?

id quite like some gold nuts and bolts for the brake calipars

I've not seen what you get in those tubs, but most people seem to think pro-bolt are fine.
I'm quite tempted by a black tub of bolts, I have to say.

If you do the maths , it works out at £4.00 a bolt so it's not exactly dear. Wonder what Honda San would ask for disc bolts?

Cheers

Again , £15 for six sprockets nuts is £2.50 each(probably cheaper than OE). Don't think home base will have gold nuts and bolts for your brake calipers

Cheers

try the fastener places advertised in the bike rags, they have been around for ages and you cant beat the prices.

It pains me to pay for such items as being in the trade i know how much nuts and bolts really cost, however saying that, the coloured fasteners are quite expensive to manufacture. They are also trendy so get yer wallets out fellas.

Could be the case but the point is , compared to what Honda would want for their rusting cheesy one four pounds each per titanium bolts ain't exactly dear. If you have no luck finding some at the price you are happy with , you are welcome to send me a PM with exactly what you need and I'll see if I can help out.

NB:For the record I will not be making any money from the bolts (not this time anyway) .

Cheers
Ben
