Re: MOT tyres pass or fail
Evening everyone, sorry i havent been replying only just got round to looking at my phone. Thank you for all your replies, yeah im not usually one who goes right to the limit with things like tyres as i know how important they are just was a bit of a struggle with money at the moment but ive managed to borrow some money and i will be getting a set of the avon storm 3d x-m. Getting them fitted before they do the MOT so should be all good, thanks for all your help and recommendations on tyres

Re: MOT tyres pass or fail
Good news. Let us know how you get on with them. I'd be interested to know for future tyre decisions myself as they've been recommended a few times on here.

My PR4s have felt a lot better the last couple of days too. I think they really need the warmer weather and sun on the roads to get to a temperature where they have any feel in them.

Re: MOT tyres pass or fail
Not an option for everyone but a couple of years ago facing MOT with a "marginal" front tyre, what I did was borrow a front wheel just for the MOT.

The Metezelars that came with my bike (99) were lethal in the wet - they must have improved since then! Fitted Michelin Pilot 2s they seem fine but I am a dry weather rider now unless I get caught out!
