Default The Yay for Christmas thread

well in light of all the bah humbug posts I am starting the yay for christmas thread...

I have a tree and decs up.. presents under tree, shopping list prepared for Christmas lunch,

However I believe in god and I want to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we haven't spent a fortune and we never do, gifts to familly are home made where possible or modest where not..

I dislike the commercialism, and i really wish people would understand and get back to the reasons for christmas

so Happy Christmas All

Xmas is about family and friends thats the only reason why I think its good, I have alot to to be happy for this christmas and also the end of this year will also be a very good thing, its not been fun at all.

I don't belive in God or any thing like that, you kinda have to questions if Jesus was in fact born in the summer why do you celebrate it now?

Love Xmas.

Have some fantastic Xmas memories stretching back as far as I can remember.

Will be doing the Carol service, and midnight mass. Mulled wine for after's. And weather permitting we'll be whizzing around the UK seeing family.

Bring it on.

During the times when Christians where oppressed things were celebrated in quiet to tie in with the Pagan's festivals so it went unnoticed... and simply got adopted... ta da...
