Default how the hell!!....

I was cleaning all the bugs and associated road grime off my Bieffe Naked helmet yesterday and found..

and damn crack in it, now i know id not dropped it, bashed it etc..
Its was only 4 months old so was a little puzzled, it looked like the stress from the visor retaining thingy had cracked it

so anyway i popped down the where i bought it from (Silver Machine in Wolverhampton) and they had a look at it and said it only looked like the paint had cracked not the helmet. They contacted there suppliers to find that Bieffe has been bought out and no longer make this helmet etc, cant be returned or anything.

Even though the helmet was bought in the sale they still had it off me and I've now got a nice Daiense 180 Simoncelli race rep helmet for the £20 difference, they never tried to argue about having the helmet returned or anything, and were very polite and helpful

Just to let you know I'm well happy with the service and would happily recommend them

Good outcome. Could just have been a one off on the paint front though.

Always good when you get a decent service.

From a safety point of view I'm sure someone has to be responsible for replacing and investigating the cause of the fault, although you would have thought that would have been the manufacturer.

Says alot for Bieffe.

Tbh it did look like it was just a paint fault, but the crack did get a bit bigger when you shut the visor. i thought id rather be safe than sorry, shame though as it was a nice looking helmet.

My new helmet wont be to everybodys taste, it urm a bit loud :P

but nice and quiet, and a decent make
