Ford GT...vs. a bike
This is a long video, i just watched the middle bit- about a guy putting two turbos on to his gt40. Makes 1000hp! Its pretty interesting
but.... being googlevideo you can fast forward it without downloading it all. listen to the line that follows 20:35 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...gt+turbo&hl=en absolutely brilliant! he looked almost in tears! |

Re: Ford GT...vs. a bike
That is just fantastic... Superb video as well, no rushing, not too many pointles burnouts... I loved watching the main guy work, he was like a surgeon. And that drag run, where he just wipes out from the rear as soon as he drops the power- third? Ye gods... I wonder what it'd do on a sticky track instead of a US icerink?
So Joe's going to get a bigger motor. Does he know Busas come in 600bhp format

Re: Ford GT...vs. a bike
nice car, but after spending that much i think i'd change the indicator stalks too, they're exactly, and i mean exactly, the same as the one's in my 1.8 TDCi focus

Not in that one, if he gets bored he can always make it spin wildly out of control with the slightest dab of his foot. That'd never get old.

Re: Ford GT...vs. a bike
it is a beautiful car. Maybe an increase in 400hp should come with a brake, suspension and tyre upgrade though!

Re: Ford GT...vs. a bike
Very nicely done video.
Definite lack of corners however, lucky all them Florida roads are straight. But then again from the drag strip experience I suppose they should work on keeping it in a straight line first Why did Clarkson get rid of his GT40? He kept having to send it back but never really said why.....
