£117 to have the parking light fixed on my car - and that's not even at the main dealer. £28 for the light bulb and bracket, the rest is 90 minutes labour. BMW basically build the car around the bulb and then if you need to change it the whole car has to be dismantled!

I think there's culture of "snow fally, no worky".
Yes, I wasn't happy that the Felixstowe to Ipswich trains were cancelled to ensure the main line was kept clear for the Norwich to London trains to run, and then be cancelled as Lph said. Meant I had to drive in a blizzard from home to Ipswich, and catch an earlier train to make sure I made my connection at Euston. As Lph said loads of folk at Chelmsford trying to get on the train, but no room on mine, which was delayed because they were worried about our Safety on an overloaded train, because other London trains had been cancelled. Chicken and the egg situation.

Pulled on my bike jacket, boots & gloves this morning cos it's so bloody cold. Just as well I did cos I tried to catch an earlier train but instead had to stand on a freezing cold platform for 45 mins.

And the armour helps with the tube commuters

Had to use the cage today to get to work. It was a bit dodgy yesterday on two wheels, didn't fancy trying my luck at 6.30 this morning.
Liking the heater in the car though. It was ******* cold yesterday.

Didn't have the car. Wife had that pleasure although we had to jump start it.

I opted to work from home instead.
