I'd like to see smaller CC engines, like say the nicely balanced 675 triple, having turbo's fitted to see what they can do...ultra lightweight but with uber power...more like the 2 stroke days in a way
i would just like to see 2t's being put back into production. i'm sure with today's technology with fuel injection etc.etc it would be possible. that spoof RD500 got me exited when i saw it

When you think of the number of car manufacturers that use forced induction(mainly to get cleaner cars with performance) it's goings to be taken up by the motorcycle industry when emission constraints are more rigidly imposed.

like you say performance cars, sports cars hot hatchs mitsubishi evo's and subaru wrx,but excluding diesels there are very few forced induction run of the mill family cars out there, cant see it cutting imissions,it hasnt on the 300+ horse power 2/2.5 liter cars with turbos,if anything they are the highest imissions and pay the highest RFT

Have a search on YouTube for turbo street triple. There is one pushing 220bhp... I quite fancy doing it....

Yeah, there are quite a few after market turbo fitted bikes but they're a bit of a mess cosmetically....there's a good one on an Sm-t too. If only there were bikes produced with more integrated solutions that were a little more need and tidy

Renults 1.2 4cyl used in Clio etc
Same as used inNissan pulsar. Juke and Qashqai. (Dig-t)
Performance and lower emissions 1.6 Dig-t.(200 bhp)
Super changed micra and note (Dig-s).
So it's out there and now old technology
