the website lies, they are not the same. if you fit a k3 link pipe to a later bike they stick out at a weird angle.

i checked another couple of companies and no one lists the k3 cans (link pipe) as different?

it will be different when you order one you will have to state its for a k3. believe me or dont its up to you. but i have seen the result of the k3 link pipe on later bikes and its fekin hilarious.

Aha! Now it all becomes clear.... this exhaust was on the bike when I bought it. I've been trying to get it to run parallel to the bike, but sits too high and fouls the mount when in that position. As you can see in the pic, tried to bend the link pipe round a bit more using a wee bit heat, but have taken it as far as I dare. Still needs to go further. So, I guess it's for an 03 model.

Another question about my soon to arrive 'saturday' naked K3... I am going to buy a givi rack (mounting arms 529fz) for it. Are the k3 ones the same as later ones?
