Abba Stand question ?
Can I work on the front end using an ABBA stand without the extra ,"Front Wheel" kit ?

Re: Abba Stand question ?
No the weight is on the front wheel. Back end is off the ground.
The front wheel kit adds another bracket on the ground to stabilise the front and lets you tie the back wheel down if I remember right. |

Re: Abba Stand question ?
I think it's just some box with another box at 90° to mount onto the stand, there's probably specs out there as I know there are ABBA copies.

Re: Abba Stand question ?
You can put a scissor jack under the front and it will lift no problem

Re: Abba Stand question ?
...or put a sand-bag on the pillion seat. It keeps the front up fine. The suggested jack under the front is better obviously, more stable.

Re: Abba Stand question ?
Thanks for all the info. I usually use a Front and rear Paddock stand but the ABBA stands look more stable and with easier access etc. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a 2nd hand one at a decent price

Re: Abba Stand question ?
If and when I need it I think I'll go with one of these for around £40 new.
