Got a new lens (well to me anyway).
Had a play this afternoon, very impressed with the results*.
It's a corsina 100-300mm, all in £40, not bad I thought. this is the top nest of Crystal Palace's mast. *I've reduced size to 40% of original for ease of posting. Cheers Mark.

Re: Got a new lens (well to me anyway).
Yeah as said well impressed, I was after a long lens, but don't use it enough to spend much, so was looking for a FD mount manual focus (I have a FD converter), but bid on this on the off chance and won it, it's EFS mount so auto focus as well.
Was a bit concerned about quality, but it seems well good enough for me. Cheers Mark.

Thanks Hun, be playing Thursday, be interesting to see what it'll do in comparison to the Silverstone shots.
Cheers Mark.

That's one hell of a bargain, it looks quite sharp too at max zoom. To sharpen it up even more, try shutting the lens down to f8 or so. Might need a tripod for some shots, but I've often used a bean bag and have just bought a Gorilla Pod off Amazon. Top product, very light and sturdy.
