Angry every one wants to kill me!

not once in my massively long biking career (of nearly 3 weeks!) have i had to try so hard not to be taken down. just driving to work and back i had someone come out of a junction looking in her handbag, a wally in a range rover u-turning on a bend, on a hill, in the rain and not even indicating. these two were on the way in, so i decided to be extra careful coming home. third time 'lucky' and stuff.
so i ride home, not even filtering, stop at red lights on a crossroad. pull away slowly when green, some (long string of censoring stars) comes from the other direction not indicating but turning right across oncoming traffic including me! luckily there's two lanes on my side and the left one's empty next to me so i swerve hard as i can into it. the bike threw a serious wobble i really thought i was coming off, could barely hold the bars, feet on the floor, slapping my knackers on the tank. i probably was going less then 20mph but i had to make such a violent manoeuvre to avoid hitting this moron head on. kept it upright somehow, dont know how at all-i was preparing to jump off!
i stopped on the other side of the junction and heard a nice smack as the lorry behind me hit the passenger side of the offending car. saved my the effort of seeing how hard the carbon knuckles of my gloves actually are.

didn't bother going over to say anything cos i was too shook up, plenty of other people were getting involved anyway not least the lorry driver.
the first two incidents i can cope with, they are daily occurrences but that last one made me hurt inside.
and my commute today was less than 10 miles!

We all have our bad days. With more experience and better anticipation you'll hopefully find that they reduce in number, though. Take it easy.

Never really had an incident that I hadnt seen coming from a mile off.

I recommend increasing your observational skills.

EEk sounds scary. When I moan about other drivers pulling out on me etc, Phil always says I should have been more observant! Still no excuse for other people's silly mistakes.
Hope thats the end of your scary episodes!

As good as you are there's always someone else stupid enough to negate that skill.

no, but you'd spot them earlier, the fact that you avoided these incidents shows that you're paying attention anyway, only more miles will make it easier to spot the wallys coming
