Sounds good

I think I might have to add a disclaimer to this thread don't want to upset people by dissing their bikes

Default Test ride challenge

If she wants a naked, the Speed Triple and Street Triple need to be test ridden.

On the list, along with the GSR750, CB650F and the W800. Maybe even a Monster as well. Busy weekend

Get a Street R they're GREAT

I was talking to a guy on the way home from the Applecross Add On who'd had his Tracer a few months and he loved it, bar seemingly dropping it on a regular basis, (his short legs not the bikes fault)

I'm really quite taken by them myself but I can't justify it when the Street does everything I want, and I can spend the money on fuel instead of paying off a new bike... Might still go for a test ride just to see how I feel about it...

Ahh yes, forgot about the BMW, that's on the list too.

Dean, you may be surprised how much better suited an adventure style bike is to UK roads. I'd reccomend testing a few. Only dont test ride the GS, because you'll want it and then be really upset with yourself. Firstly for being the type of person who likes a GS and secondly when you realise how much they cost.

sat on one that had been lowered and could flat foot then sat on one at the dealers. nice position but the suspension was terrible when i done a bounce test, 3 full rebounds which is worse than a standard SV. i was seriously considering one after sitting on the lowered one but came to my senses after the visit to the dealers. i think if the suspension had been better controlled i might have just signed my life away.

why dont you just throw some cash at the SV with a comfort kit and suspension work.

That's another option, she did have a look at your bike at the GM but I think she just wants a new bike.

Suits me as I'll buy the SV off her and use it on the track

only thing i dont like about my bike is the seat, i cant get it right and i'm on my third try. once i get the seat right then i'll be a happy bunny. if the front discs were not like putting the brakes on over big rumble strips i would have given her a go on it as i know Scott would have loved to have a go as well but the brakes were really dangerous. just wait for the two years are up then let her go test loads to see what she likes.
