Re: Ok Geeks of Orgdom, lend me your ears
I remember in the early days of DSL all these issues used to be linked to MTU settings, not seen it recently though as most providers have updated their networks to all be the same MTU value.
Why not start with a fresh reset of the box. has anyone else got virgin bb, can they access it, just to check there is no routing problem on virgins end. viney, paste the tracert output from yr computer to this page

Re: Ok Geeks of Orgdom, lend me your ears
I done a fresh reset of the router before i done all the techy stuff. I will do it again tonight and post up results.
Baph: I checked all the logs you said, but theya re all turned off, and as far as i can see, there are no Ip addys or anything in the lists at all. I have a feeling that it might be what you said that the RBS site does actully know when something is trying to connect wirelessely!! |

Re: Ok Geeks of Orgdom, lend me your ears
Yep the main log only seems to show the successful logs, but there might be something 'deeper' if you know where to look.
When you reset it you pressing the little reset button, or setting it back to factory in the router menus? |

Re: Ok Geeks of Orgdom, lend me your ears
What about the possability that the issue lies within the laptop itself. Ive seen trogans that bugger up access to websites, ususaly trying to redirect the traffic though a proxy, this will all happen without you knowing.
A possability.
