My last pair of even cheaper RST's are still waterproof, after two years, and with the sole coming off!

I had a pair of those RST waterproof boots too. They were waterproof for about 3 times of riding in the rain.

I must be a magnet for purchasing the duff set of a bunch of normally good gear.
