Default Will this polish out?

It's on ebay and I'm thinking of doing a buy it now, but I'd like to know if folk think this mark will polish out?

Please don't reply if you've never polished a scratch in your life and are guessing based upon what you've heard others say, but if you really do know about these things, or even just if you've done it before, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks.

Bit sticker residue me thinks,at least it is one piece and a good Farecula and polish will probably bring it up like new. Worst comes to the worst a bit of spraying as long as it is intact. I take it the price is right?

I can't see properly but it looks like the scratch hasn't gone through to the undercoat/primer?

In that case, it *should* be ok - again I can't tell how bad it is but try using a polish first. I have been using Meguiars #9 Swirl Remover http://www.autogeek.net/meg9swirrem.html which is good for a polish, but quite abrasive. You could try something like T-Cut which I seem to recall is less abrasive, but I haven't used it for a long time!

If the polish isn't enough, some very fine wet and dry sandpaper can be used first but just be careful...it'll take paint off quite quickly...

Go gentle with it and use the g8 or 10 to get any stubborn polishing marks out.

If it is sticker residue, i have stuff that smells like oranges(sort of) which is used in the sign trade for disolving the adhesive, one wipe leave for one min wipe again and its gone! if you can't get it locally get in touch and i will send you a little bottle of it. Mike
