Clutch push oil rod seal (K3 SV650)
Hi guys,
I recently had an oil leak and it appeared to be coming from the clutch rod (there was no seal at all). I bought a new seal and put it in today but am not sure whether we need to apply pressure to it so that it pops into the engine? We have applied a little pressure and it appeared not to be popping in. We didnt want to apply too much pressure in case its not supposed to go in. The oil leak has stopped, however, but the seal moves with the push rod which is why we think its supposed to be inside the engine. Thanks for the help. |
