Default Heat rash

Wondered if anyone has any advice on this *****ly problem? (maybe some of you have experienced it yourselves?)

I always wear my Spada Permertex armoured biking trousers whenever I go out on my bike. They have an inner lining - it's that shiny thin stuff you sometimes get inside duffel coats / jackets etc (non-biking).

Anyway, I'm getting a rash on my leg which I'm 99% sure is either a heat rash or a rash from sweat build up (sorry for the details).

Am I supposed to wash the inners? or Am I supposed to wear a thin cotton-type under-trouser thingy under my proper bike trousers?

or I could just wear jeans

any advice / comments gratefully received

Thanks all

I thought initially mine could be insects or somewhat that have got into the lining after going on a camping trip - I haven't washed the linings of my trousers for a while, I will do it and report back!

Cotton or silk long-johns sound like the best solution.

Heat rash/*****ly heat... Take some anti-hystamines (Zirtec etc), that should prevent the symptoms re-occuring

I thank you
