Default Rear wheel strip down

How easy is it to remove and strip the rear wheel? I'm going to powder coat it but need to strip the wheel.

Is there anything I should watch out for? Local tyre firm and going to remove tyre. Whats the best way to remove the bearings? I have printed out the relevant section in the sv manual link on this site.

Cheers

Big hammer. Something pointy (I use an old blunt chisel) Apply the force evenly round the bearing, don't just whack it on one point or you might damage the wheel. If the spacer's tight, you can tap it gently to one side with a drift to let you get to the bearing. I think the rest's in the manual, about supporting the wheel with blocks of wood etc.

Don't hit yourself in the face with the hammer. Trust me on this
