HG Valley Gloves
I bought these about a month ago when it really started to be far too warm for the winter gloves. They are pretty comfortable apart from a tendency to a big lumpy crease along the finger/palm line. They seem well made from good quality leather and were reasonably priced at about 35 UKP.
The only really significant negative feature is the sweatiness. They have a 'sheltex' membrane which is supposed to be waterproof and breathable. I haven't worn them in prolonged rain so no comments about the waterproof-ness but they are not actually very breathable. If you take them off when sweaty - to pay for petrol, say - the liners wrinkle up and make them hard to get back on comfortably. Fine if they have time to dry out but not good for stops and starts. 7/10. |
