Re: Manchester
times depend on my shifts, and routes vary too, but usually pick up a colleague in Astley, then A580, Worsley Courthouse, M60, M602, Trafford Road, to work at Stretford. Home is usually Chester Road to M60 J7, then off at Worlsey and home.
However, when on afternoons, we are known to go through Glazebrook, over Warburton Bridge and in through Partington. You may have noticed from other threads, but I am a traffic cop in Salford and Trafford, so I get to see loads of SV's on my daily travels but have given up posting "eyeballs" due to lack of response. I always give a cheery wave to any I see, which usually causes a very shocked reaction!

Re: Manchester
I use Ashton old road or Ashton new road, then onto the Mancy way and off at the first junction. I work at the Uni so head down Oxford Road. I see a naked yellow Sv most days

Re: Manchester
Keep an eye out for me too, I'm using the bike to commute these days, lots of filtering fun along the east lancs off the M61!

Re: Manchester
Working from home now, but now and then riding to Rochdale. M60 - M62 or cutting through city centre for fun.

Re: Manchester
Why would you ride to Rochdale? I spend all my time trying to get out of it!

Re: Manchester
Not been on here for a while, but changed jobs and got another bike a second bike. I now own a streetfightered Bandit 12 and a stock GSXR750 (2000 model).
My route to work Chapel en le Frith to Trafford Park is B5470 through Kettleshulme then small twisty road past Pott Shrigley to Adlington and B5358, Then A34, M60 off at Junction 9 or 10 But on sunny summer mornings i go A6 to Buxton then Cat n Fiddle to Macclesfiled . Loads of fun, no traffic and definately no cops, In a nutshell the best time to ride the cat. Chog |

Re: Manchester
I ride into the centre down Bury Old/Cheetam Hill Road from Unsworth.
A tip for those who work near NCP car parks: they are supposed to charge a pound for bikes but it's actually free, just duck round the barriers. More secure (the car parks are covered in CCTV) and your bike stays dry. |

Re: Manchester
I normally do Bolton -> Bury -> Heap Bridge -> Pilsworth -> past Birch services -> Middleton -> Chadderton. Can't remember the last time I saw an SV. No - I tell a lie I've seen a naked thou in Bury a couple of times this year.
