...Passed the MoT no problem.

yup, depends on the tester and if it is an independent station or a large station like kwik fit who are after a quick buck!

This one is very deaf! He does MoTs for a Ducati dealership so he probably found the M4 on the mellow side.

I got an advisory on the front pads though. Are they an easy change on an SV? Never had to touch them until now.

Easy enough to do. Take your time and use the opportunity to give the calipers and pistons a good clean up. Put a decent coat of red rubber grease on the pistons too, before reassembly.
