Default Flat battery again

Its done me again! Every now and again I forget to check that when applying the steering lock on Suzy, I turn the key one position too far and leave the park light on and a flat battery results. Luckily I was at my sons and we managed to do a bump start so I was able to ride home ok

I hate that option and have done the same. Thieves snap the locks easy anyway so they aren't worth a damn IMHO. I use a disc lock and a portable little alarm secreted under my tank via magnets I stuck to it and use it when I park up for shopping etc.

Motorcycle portable alarm

As the Alarm doesn't have an on-off switch I have a little bit of card under the batteries and move that up to block one of the batteries contacting to save the battery life.

I stuck 4 of these on the bottom of the alarm. I roughed up the magnet's face s and the plastic so they bonded and used some Superglue and then a bit of twin pack epoxy to make sure
