Question AR08 Quick Question

Well, I failed my bike test on Friday and I was really looking forward to going on the AR08. The next date for my test is July 17th which is too late for the AR08.
I have just bought myself a Yamaha YZF R125 in blue so I can ride still, apparently is has a top speed of 80mph .

Before I take my name off the list, I thought I would ask if anyone would take offence if I came long anyway on my 125 or would my bike be too slow for the slowest riders on the AR08??

as long as you can get there alright, you should definately still come!! i'm still on 33bhp limit as well. and as has been said in the 'ego minding' thread, it's not going to be a fast paced ride, more of a social get together ride so you'll be fine i would say. (feel free to come along and tell me to pi55 off and slap me if i'm wrong on this thoguh oh holy mods )

Having been around a while and been to more than a few AR's, they are run as inclusive events , not exclusive.

Come along by all means, the marker system should mean no one gets left behind on the ride-out, so no worries there.

Cheers Mark.

ere, I have been to a few bike rallies in the past, and its all about fun for bikers with or without bikes of super dooper quality to the most monstrous ratters. A few years back at the Wozwolf rally I saw a red 125 on L plates that had come from Scotland to Derby and won the award of smallest cc and longest distance!!!!!

Besides, on the rideout weekend your not forced to take part in the actual rideout if you feel put off by it...there will be plenty of experienced riders with bigger bikes that can't do the actual ride itself for various reasons, and your more than welcome to sit and socialise with them......and get a tan!!!! lol
But if you decide to brave the ride, then there will be plenty of nice folk to make you feel at ease, and accompany you at your pace
