Default Couple of questions

is it just me or is the paint on the pointy sv like thin a **** and chips easly ive had my k5 candy blue now for nearly a year and ive already got like 3 chips in the paint work.

other thing how many of u guys with an after market can have removed there baffle and had any probs with police

I agree the paint is a bit on the thin side. The worst bit on mine is in the recesses on the tank where my knees have rubbed the paintwork. I got some clear plastic protectors to put on there.

As for the exhaust baffle, see the sticky at the top of this thread re: number plates & exhausts - well worth knowing about

Alternatively, have a look for a product called "Ventureshield" or theres an American product called Tank Slappers or something like that I think

Baffes are out on both my bikes and also one my Girlfriends bike ( the other bike has its standard can still ). Never had any trouble with the Police. As long as you dont ride like a moron and attract attention to yourself they'll normally in my experience leave you alone.

ive never been stopped for my exhaust, i have been stopped by the old bill but they have never said anything about the can.

never been stopped and never stopped anyone for having a loud can -more likely to get stopped if riding like a ****.
