Default Project finished some pics

Just completed the little minitwin track bike, quite pleased with the result:
The net cost including selling the bits I didn't need was £200-£300
Pretty much stock, made my own aluminium subframe, fireblade rear end, local fellow painted it, relocated shorai battery to side of engine, race loom, few brackets and stuff, 520 chain conversion, zx636 rear shock and upgraded fork springs, acewell speedo and revcounter. I have some cams to swap over to make it about 70bhp but that can wait.
I like the paint, sets it off nicely and a bit different to most SV's. Coming to Cadwell this summer.

TOP JOB!! Like this very much and for only £300 smackers!
You may see myself and SVGTI at cadwell at some point thru this year on our latest contraptions, starting off at Blyton Park tho first on march 2nd.

Enjoy the result of the hard work!

P.S. Will a curvy run without clocks installed? (I know that is not how yours is, but just wondered)

Also wud like to see pics of your subframe, is it welded or bolted together?

I can't see any reason why not but if you are removing the ignition you need to put a resistor in the loom.

Here's the sub frame before a few more holes were drilled. It uses the original tank bracket and the blank strap across the middle holds the ECU. My mate tig welds aluminium so I was lucky, It was all made with simple tools, file, drill, taps, saw. Cost me about £40 in material.

The tungstens were a bit big, they are geared up for 6mm plate so he did very well. I gave him 12 cans of beer in full payment!
