Bugger I actually went with them this year for the first year ever on one of the bikes as it was ridiculously cheap and I was very last minute. I'd always boycotted them.

Lost my left earplug. My left ear has also become completely blocked since swimming last night.
These are both really gripes but I don't need the ear plug because of not being able to hear anything so trying to see the positive

No doubt different people will have different experiences with insurance companies but I use Bikesure through MAG.

I also realise this isn't a smile of the day but you should be careful with blocked ears, it can lead to tinnitus which is a ba***rd . I suffered for a while before I had microsuction to remove wax from my ears. The last time I went to hospital a few weeks ago for a hearing test the audiologist couldn't do it because my ears were blocked again. I stopped riding with ear plugs for a while because they can compact the wax but am using them again after using sodium bicarbonate and olive oil drops to clear the ears a bit.
They also say hearing loss can contribute to dementia so it shouldn't be ignored. Sorry for going on a bit.

I have tinnitus, had it for as long as I can remember. Now I've mentioned it I can hear it louder than before.
