Free restrictor kits from Suzuki

Just seen this on the official suzuki gb site ..........

This deal has been going for months (at least 4, probably alot longer than that though)

I got a free one last November with my new sv.

Technically the deal has been going for many years, in fact when Suzuki started making restrictor kits. Suzuki have never charged for the restrictor kits, dealers have, and Suzuki got fed up of complaints and announced they were still free!

Exactly, dealers were charging people for a product they were getting for free from Suzuki.

how can i get one like this as it just says contact dealer with which ive got a reply saying it is £200 for the ristrictor? any help apreshiated

I dont think that you can just pop into anyshop and ask for one to be fitted for free, because the dealer will want to charge for labour, etc, however, £200 quid is a hell of a lot of money for something that makes you go slower! Think of it like this, it is less than £100 to take a DAS test (and a lot more fun afterwards )!

What dealers tend to do is if you buy a new bike from them then they will fit one for free.

As it has always been; it is only free if you buy a new or secondhand motorcycle from a Suzuki dealer.
