Motorbike insurance excess insurance

For a little over 30 quid you can take out insurance so you can get up to 500 quid excess refunded.... |

Only cost me £25.
Also my insurance broker pointed me at a different policy than the cheapest offer due to this. Cheap Policy had a £350 excess, the one I got a £250. Price difference was about £10 The reason for going for the more pricey one was that as my bike is inured as being garaged, if it is taken from my home address, but not from the garage (so parked on the road) between 10pm and 6am the excess is doubled. So the £250 excess one is fully covered by the excess insurance. Seemed like a good deal  David |

Great!!!! Just what I need to see. I'm having major hassles with Bennets who claim my excess is £750 - something I never agreed to on my policy - long story. Any idea if this will work in hindsight seeing as my off was just a week ago?
