M.O.T to pass or not to pass that is the question.
Does a bike have to have a number plate light to pass the MOT?
I've junked the original mud scoop in favour of an undertray but it doesnt incorporate a number plate light. I've still got the bulb and could propbably fashion a light of some kind, if really need be. Advise appreciated. |

You could always get one of those tiny LED's to do the job - just drill through your undertray & flush mount it - thats what I intend to do when my SV comes up for its first MOT.
Or, do what I do at the moment with the VFR - ask around about a nice 'bike friendly' MOT centre - mine just asks me what I want them to look at & what I want them to ignore !! (currently race can & small (ish) number plate)

Is that enough light to get it through the MOT?
