Fork oil options

After a lot of reading and research ive ordered myself a zx14r rear shock that I found on Ebay, and a pair of k-tech .95 springs.
I really didn't want to ask the usual "what spring/shock do I need" question so ive taken the gamble.
There's a lot of information out there and a lot of it is conflicting.
The bike is a 2003 650s and I'm 210lb.
The only extra bit of advice I could do with is regarding fork oil, what weight oil would you recommend.
I'm not planning on doing anything extreme on the bike just a lot of road work, I'm just looking for an improvement on the bouncy castle

I want to say 15 but wait for someone else .
2 Penneth on the shock - I would consider getting it serviced before fitment. It’s out , it’s easy and it doesn’t cost the earth. I don’t know what years zx14 ran but I’m guessing it’s more than a few years and mileage most likely unknown

Thanks for the reply, I've already warned the bloke that does the stuff I don't feel comfortable doing that he's got a little job to do. I'm happy to do the swap, just not the rebuild

I'd be inclined to suggest Silkolene Maintain RSF 10W oil. It is nearer to most 15W oils and has a high viscosity index (VI) which means the viscosity doesn't change as much with temperature. You can see how it compares in the table at http://peterverdone.com/wiki/?title=Suspension_Fluid (it is now called "maintain" but used to be called PRO RSF, as in the table).

I use RSF 7.5W but I'm a bit lighter and prefer to be on the comfier side regarding damping. It's not the end of the world if you decide you need/want higher viscosity at a later stage.

I'd also say 15W. Embee is right, as simply the W number isn't the whole story, but yep a bit thicker is good, the standard fork damping is a bit soft.

I mixed 10 and 15 just to thicken it a bit.
