Think i've seized it :-(
Coming home tonight, bit lost power and cut out.
Started again and sounded like someone smashing metal together. Limped home, pulled the sump plug out to find 2-3 small bits of metal. |

ebay is your friend in times like these.
ive seen some engines go for as little as 100 and some for around 800 quid. the mass had the same problem. lets wait for him. |

take it you have no warranty ?
what about your car ? if your really that stuck, you could always try repairing the engine yourself, thats probably what i would to. not that i know how to or anything |

IIRC The Mass bought a spare mini twin engine from Mike1234. But he had a pointy not a curvey.
I think that Falc might have some bits left over after his accident. He may or may not have an engine. It was a curvey. Might be worth a PM

Bugger
Have you tried just dumping 3.5L of fresh oil in it to see if it runs? If so might be worth running for a few minutes at various loads, then dumping that oil & filter out and re-filling. For the firt run you can use any old cheap mineral oil so for £15-£20 I'd give it a wirl, it may not last foever, but at least you don't then have to pick up the first overpriced lump that turns up?
