Default Coming back

Morning

It's been a while.

I had a curvy a good few years ago, we did the ride out in the peaks in the early 2000's, but then parted company from it on the M6 . I did rebuild it but fell out of love shortly after, and drifted away from here shortly after

Life has changed, quite a lot, and I'm now down south in Bristol and in a position that I will be getting a new bike. My first thought, obviously, was an SV so I went to Fowlers in Bristol for a look. They had a couple of pointies, but I also found a few other things I like the look of.

I think I'm lookign around the following:
SV (obvs)
Aprilia Shiver
Yam MT-07 or MT-09
Kawa Z800
Street Triple
Sporty 600 thing.

It will be for a commute (not very far, but crap traffic) and my only transport except the bus and cycle. My OH has a car that I can use, but only if she isn't. She's also into bikes so something that I can take her out for a spin on.

I reckon I can go up to about £5k - more if anywhere comes up with a 0% finance deal. Nearly bought a Z1000 the other day because of the finance deal but no room in the current garage - we're moving soon so we'll have room in the garage finally

I'd also like to get back out with others so things like AR - I'll be back

What does anyone think?

I think the MT-09 is worth a long look. Read some good reviews on it.

Welcome back.

Triumph Street R is a great bike but its got a poor steering lock and zero practically in the space department. I've taken the better half to the south of Spain on it so day trips shouldn't be a problem.

Best thing you can do though is get a test ride on as many bikes you're interested in and make a choice for yourself. You won't regret it.

Welcome back man!

As has been said test ride em all and see what you like best.

From that lot though i'd go for the MT-09. I like the looks of it and is a lot of bike for the cash
