Default Preload Adjusters/Protecting new sprockets

Just got new chain and sprocket set. Is there anything (such as ACF50) that I can put on the sprockets to try and protect them from the elements? My old OEM sprocket got really dirty and it wont come off.

Also just doing the GSXR front end upgrade, is it worth getting some external preload adjusters for the forks? Are they easy enough to fit?

Probably best to use some heavy grease - wont wash off at all.

The GSXR forks have external preload adjusters, the things you see for sale are just to make it easier- they sit on the stock adjusters, so that instead of needing a spanner you just turn them. Can't say that I often want to adjust preload on the move, so I don't see an awful lot of point unless you have a reason to do that, myself.
