Dead battery
Hi
How we all doing, Recently went on holiday for a week to Bulgaria, very hot, came back attempted to start my sv650 03, and nothing. 1 week left. Had to stick the oxford maximiser on it, and the battery was new this year. Anyone have any ideas ? Cheers Sandy |

Re: Dead battery
It should start fine if left for a week. IMO few possibilities....
1Do you have an alarm?.....might have gobbled the power 2:Lights left on....parking? 3:When you initially installed the battery did you charge it up properly....in my experience if they dont get a good initial charge they are never any good at holding a charge long term. |

Hi And thanks for that, I remember pooring in the battery fluid, leaving it for a couple of hours then putting it in and I think I started it up straight away. The bike does have an alarm, not the best but I decided not to leave it on for that reason. sandy |
