Cupar vs Saltire
If you had to choose which one to service your bike who would it be? Not convinced with MO or JA.

Re: Cupar vs Saltire
depending on who was closest, i would use either.. they are both good.
my first 500mile free service was done at cupar and i couldn't fault them, considering it was a free service they even topped up my scottoiler. both places have very helpful staff with 'no pressure sales' and have good relations with there customers. |

Re: Cupar vs Saltire
Right now I'd choose Cupar. Had my bike serviced there under warranty, no snags and an SV courtesy bike to conduct redline experiments on.
I've been phoning and emailing Saltire recently trying to buy a bike and they've given me a damn good ignoring, just empty promises that somebody will be in touch. If this is how they treat me before they get my money... Everybody else speaks very highly of them mind. |

Re: Cupar vs Saltire
used Cupar since buying the bike 4 years ago. No problems at all. Now do servicing myself out of warranty. Visited Saltire once and got totally ignored despite hanging around particular bikes for a while. Went back another day and had plenty attention and a test ride. Still quoted £300 for a service with no extra parts though. Did that myself for about £90 plus time.

Re: Cupar vs Saltire
bought bike from Cupar, bike been serviced by cupars had nothing but good service from them. never used saltire so can't comment, by the sounds of things though you'll get good service from either! so wouldn't worry too much. Cupar does have some fun roads to get you there!
oh and used jim Allen for tyres and was fine!! |

Re: Cupar vs Saltire
I use Saltire for tyres, I have yet to see their prices beaten. Servicing and repairs I do myself. If I had a bike in warranty though I would probably be using Saltire or C&S
