Default Bibio - a prince amongst men!

It has been said by many before me but I'll say it again - Lance, what a thoroughly splendid fellow!

He squandered the best part of his Sunday helping a complete ineptoid like me track down a green connector problem... that turned out not to be a green connector problem! And then did a whole load of wee wiring jobs while he was at it. And when I say he helped me, what I really mean is he did all the hard work and I made a cup of coffee and talked pish.

Thanks again Lance. You are a star turn!

Bizarrely - the starter problem may still be there but the bike seemed to be running a lot smoother this morning. No idea why but it was a nice wee Brucie bonus!

We normally call him more of a Queen than a Prince, but he's a top little fella and we're all very fond of him!

Always good to hear! (That people help each other out, rather than the other allegation )

He's ok. His satnav is a pain in the proverbial though.

[QUOTE=Bibio;2913102]that'll be the placebo effect.. QUOTE]

Definitely not just placebo effect. I dunno what has changed but it has got rid of really lumpy running between 3-4.5k rpm. My guess is maybe the front plug lead wasn't quite pushed in properly or something was kinked or disconnected or not seated right in the airbox?

Either way, the difference is almost like when you do a TPS adjustment for the first time!

Meanwhile the ignition still plays up but I blasted some brake cleaner into it last night followed by graphite lock lube so we'll see if that works any magic...
