Help - No Ignition, Lights, or Odometer (Sorted Now)
I've put the bike back together (2001 sv650s) and wired up all the wiring, stripped out the old alarm and imobalizer. But still nothing, no lights, odometer or anything, nadda. I've checked the fuses, even replacing the 30a fuse. I've even crossed the starter relay and the starter turns, but when I switch the ignition on I get nothing.
Now I'm looking through the wiring diagram and it all seems correct and I don't appear to have missed anything that would affect it, but still its a lifeless beast. Any ideas while I double cheak it all and stare at me manual? Last edited by Grinch; 21-06-07 at 01:51 PM. |

Dig out your multimeter & get testing voltages. It's the only way you'll find it.

Right, just tested the ignition barrel on Helga, and it started the bike fine. Next is the relay.

OK, put the ignition back on and pulled the relay off and that was fine, reconnected it all and now I'm sat here lisening to a SV that hasn't started in 2 years tick over.
