it's a road race circuit, one of the very few biking events I've never been to; so looking forward to it, I doubt I'll be partaking of any Ale, however as my route takes me to Bakewell I expect to pickup a bottle or two....

Might pop along on the Sunday. Any idea how much entry is? Went to Gold Cup in the pi55ing rain in september and it was about £20 IIRC...
