Blue skies and warm sunshine after a week of coldness. Lovely

Celebrating Coolgirl's (Debs) Birthday on Saturday night, in a gay disco. Her guide dog Lewis doesn't look all that happy he was made to wear a tiara to fit with the drag queen theme.

^^ This! The greatest revelation in email since it's invention. Imagine how much time I could have saved and how much less embarrassment I could have suffered if email always did this!

Default Smile of the day - What is yours?

Watched someone trying to videoconference with kit that didn't want to work.
The result was 3 people huddled round an iPhone face timing the other people and holding paper copies of a presentation up to the front facing camera on the phone.

Looked hilarious, but apparently it isn't the done thing in FTSE100 companies at Head Office level.

I was glad it wasn't my meeting!

Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce. I'm a happy camper!!!! Just found out I won a place in the ballot to visit the BT Tower as part of Open House London. YAY!!!

Will not make the mistake of following the herd and joining a three hour queue to get into the Gherkin, Lloyds or the Cheesegrater this year. I've never seen so many people in the City before, even at rush hour. Took a few snaps and went exploring the Wren churches instead last year which were all open - which was excellent. If you like to see behind the scenes of some very interesting places and buildings not normally open to the public I highly recommend it. Sept 19/20 this year.

I would love to see behind the scenes at St Pancras but I doubt they will ever do such a thing. Probably worthy of a strike if that was suggested.

If you've heard then I guess that means I wasn't lucky in the same ballot. Never mind. I'll be in the media centre at Lord's for the last time before they tear it apart so that'll be good enough.
