Tiptree strawberries, on sale in Waitrose, yummy, no wonder the jam tastes so good. The local plums, apples and figs are also delicious right now. I've made a crumble. And if you haven't tried wasabi almonds then you must, but be warned, they are totally addictive, I have to get someone to hide them from me once I'm half way through a bag.

seeing two of my best friends get married in cornwall and having them trust me to be one of there ushers, despite all my problems! it has been a fabulous couple of days

Brick-layer started work today after a 4 week delay caused by red-tape with Welsh Water. At last!!!

Having a pint in the middle of the afternoon with lovely Lady Poppy after exploring a fascinating cathedral on our short break. Plus the munchkin has not called to be picked up again after her first night away at Sussex uni.
