Mirror extenders?
I was grumbling the other day about how 50% of what I see in my mirrors is myself. I searched the forum and brought up a link to "Chewy's Stuff" where there are 26mm offset delrin mirror extenders. Is 26mm going to make that much difference? Be grateful to hear from anyone who's tried them.
I'm presuming seeing as it was an organ posting the link that this is a known and trusted source? |

Re: Mirror extenders
I have mirror extenders on my pointy and they are fantastic. I get a really clear view on both sides.

They are worth having. I bought chewys extenders a while back and wouldn't be without them now.

Re: Mirror extenders?
Bought some a year ago, not Chewys, but some from eBay from someone in Hungary, and they help a lot. I can still see my arms in the mirrors but less arm and more what's behind me.

Re: Mirror extenders?
Interesting. I take it the bandit mirrors are interchangeable, or did you have to mod them somehow?
On another point, even though some parts of Chewy's site could do with updating (he's got quite a few dead links etc. etc.) I ordered some extenders and they were sent out super fast. I only say as broken links sometimes make me wonder whether a site is still active. |

Re: Mirror extenders?
take the SV mirrors off and bolt the Bandit mirrors on.
http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/suzuki/g...sk5_bandit/05/ they are pricey but i feel they are worth it as it puts the mirrors more in line with your eyes. |

Re: Mirror extenders?
Hey bibio, not trying to be awkward but, but, what do you mean by "more inline with your eyes"? They're higher?
