I do agree that several assumptions have to be made for it to fit (primarily that there's no one that looks like him on a bike like his from anywhere else or unregistered), and that it's not exactly rock-solid evidence, but I assume that a lawyer told him he'd lose if he plead not guilty.

I don't doubt that he did it, but from what I've read they've not proved that at all, they've just established that on the balance of probability it was him. That's never been enough under UK law, and never should be.

No it was an RT or something. Was quite distinctive in the picture. I think he was a bit daft but have some sympathy for him.

As northy said, all evidence was circumstantial, but the law has to only be beyond reasonable doubt … if it had to be completely water tight then no crims would ever get convicted … he was a total tw4t, he got caught, he got punished … justice is served

They evidently need to ban him for life as he doesn’t sound like he gives a stuff and already admitted he’d do it again!! I mean what sort of ‘knuckle dragger’ is this bloke?!!?
