Still learning,

was thinkin about gettin the engine back to black as it is flaking alot at the front, Is it as easy as getting the paint brush out and paintin it with the write paint or is not that to easy.

Any help would be most helpful.

If you want it to look really sh1te a high temp paint by hand can be done and may last for awhile.

there is no reason why you cant paint it after all thats how it gets its colour in the first place.

you will need to use a high temp paint and spraying it on rather then brushing it on will give much nicer results. just remeber to make sure its really clean and free from any flakey loose debris bits before spraying.

If you do it, will you post some pics on here. I'm considering doing the side casings on my k6 as I'm sure they'd look much better in black!

Also, don't spray over any bolts if you can help it, never know when you might want to take it to bits. That's what's putting me off, it'd be a masking job from hell... Might get the pros in. I hate my scabby cases...
