Default Lovely weather for ducks...

Not so lovely for doing a MOD 2, after 5 minutes on the road the examiner pulled me into a car park and told me to wait there for my instructor, he cancelled the test "because of all the standing water and gusty wind" he didn't fault my riding (I didn't really have chance to mess up) but I had been out all day in the same weather conditions with a few front wheel slides at low speeds without binning it.

As a side note, I would really NOT recommend a 'Oxford Bone Dry' jacket to anyone, it's just not waterproof and the insides of the pockets were more suited to goldfish than my wallet and keys

Was it yours or the training schools? Hein Gericke have a fairly cheap offer on Goretex 2 pieces right now...just a thought

That's a very tame Mallard there, and it is my own jacket so i am going to try some of that waterproofing stuff that you wash it in, It's had a good blast with the spray-on stuff and that worked a treat on the trousers (Richa), no effect on the jacket.

The biggest kick in the nuts is that I should be collecting the SV on Wednesday... I was really looking forward to it.
My friend Paul is insured on basically anything with wheels as the garage his father owns does work on both cars and bikes so he can ride it back for me, after seeing a photo he has 'kindly' offered to look after it for me until I pass, Hmmm

WTF! I haven't heard that song before and that video is like your worst nightmare after some really bad acid

And thanks to the lone wolf, I cant stop ****ing myself everytime I see a duck now because its beak looks like a dog. Thanks a lot!

Oh and bummer about the test Stonesie, fingers crossed for the weather next time hey. I don't blame the test centres for cancelling really, emergency stops in the wet for a learner can end in disaster. Just ask the guy who crashed before me on our test day!
