Congratulations - maybe it's so long ago I've forgotten but I don't remember having to do a u turn when I did my test in '80 and I cheat on the rare occasion when I do them now!

Congratulations! I continue having nightmares involving the U-turn.
Took me 3 attempts to pass the test.

Having ridden my own bike for over two years now, I still have no
idea why the test style U-turn is a requirement for getting a
license.

congrats.... yep. 2 months since i passed and still not had the urge to do a U turn..

ok, well i did one a couple of days after i got my bike to give meself a bit of clutch control practise... and then forgot all about them

Thanks guys it does feel great when you pull off that bloody Uturn.
I had the bike out in less than an hour after passing the test yesterday and was out again today..........brr cold and wet

Shared the pain with you then Prof

U-turns rock!! I hated them too but practice makes perfect. It's really good low speed control and great for showing off. I park up opposite the sixth form college so there are lots of kids on scoots and it's great to do a perfect U-turn in front of them.
